The Router now has an IP Address with it. I never swap out or replace a Router on the network before and I would like to learn or know how to do it if, in case, the Router or network has problem

Additionally, if sky needs to replace somebody's router, it would be a hassle to have to specifically encode a router for them. This way, any reconditioned router can be used. It seems that user names and passwords are only there to make using unofficial routers harder.
