Let's hope it stays working, it has been a few days now. Perhaps in the case of your adapters, both are defective or the actual unit is defective. I once had that problem with the regular magic jack and they replaced it for a charge of $10, but I don't know what their protocol is for magicjack plus. Good luck. Apr 27, 2010 · In the evening the internet quit working and the magic jack stopped, too. Today another tech came out and fixed the problem so the internet is working, but the magic jack is not. He could not fix that and told us to call the company and have them fix it He said he did not do anything to affect the magic jack, but it is not working. If that does not work: If you are using a Windows PC in your notification panel on your task bar, right click the speaker icon and go to “Playback Devices”. Within the “Playback” and “Recording” tabs ensure that the devices you wish to use with the magicJack are set as the default communication device.
