Instead of using the DNS servers from your Internet Service Provider, you can set up the Google Public DNS service on your router to potentially improve browsing speed. Playing around with the settings, I found out that you can only change the DNS servers if you choose Static IP address. If you choose, Dynamic IP address provided by your ISP, then you can't change the DNS settings. I can workaround this on the laptops, pcs and phones by setting DNS manually but can't do that for Smart TV or Blu-Ray player.
It is advised to take the time to flush your DNS resolver cache on your local machine and browser caches to ensure that your new DNS configuration settings take affect.
